North Murray's 2014 Valedictorian is Mr. Stetson Gunnoe. When asked about his thoughts on earning this honor, Mr. Gunnoe said the following, "Becoming Valedictorian has been my dream since my freshman year. The hardest part of my high school career was trying to balance my college and high school classes my junior year. Other than academics, I am very passionate about writing and reading in my free time. My father (Joe), my step-mom (Ruby), and Dr. Bowers have made me aspire to achieve this goal. I plan on going to Dalton State and getting my RN. Then I plan on getting my Nurse Practitioner or other master's degree in Nursing. It is such an honor to be the Valedictorian of the immensely talented class of 2014."

North Murray's 2014 Salutatorian is Miss Hannah Stanley. When asked about her thoughts on being this year's Salutatorian, Miss Stanley said, "I had hoped that I would be either Salutatorian or Valedictorian, so I worked really hard all four years of high school. The hardest part of high school has been juggling college (and other upper-level) classes, extracurricular activities, and personal hobbies. I love writing and reading. My dream job would be to become an author as I enjoy writing immensely. I'd like to attend Berry College, but I may go to Dalton State for a year or two until I have a better, more definitive feel for what I want to do with my career and major. As of now, I'm tossing around Biology and English, but I can always change my mind."
