Chatsworth American Legion donates classroom flags for North Murray High School. Dr. Dan Harkelroad was concerned when he discovered there were no American flags on display in any of the NMHS classrooms. He contacted Larry Morrison, Commander of American Legion Post 167, for information about where to purchase flags. Morrison said that the Legion would provide the flags at its expense. Last month, Morrison, along with 59-year Legion member Ralph Jackspn and Junior Vice Commander Gary Woodring, delivered the flags for 65 classrooms. Legion representatives said, “We continue to enthusiastically support any public effort to promote American values.” Pictured above: L to R: Harkelroad, Morrison, NMHS Principal Maria Bradley, Jackson and Woodring.
