Brian Chuck Parrish, 45, of Chatsworth died at Hamilton Medical Center on Monday following a four-car crash in Dalton on Sunday.

According to reports from the Georgia State Patrol, Parrish was traveling east on Highway 52 in a 1998 Toyota Corolla. Parrish’s car traveled across the left turn lane and the concrete median divider on the west side of the intersection with Highway 286. After traveling through the intersection, the Toyota struck a Ford Windstar in the right front then rotated clockwise and struck a Chevrolet Malibu then struck a Kia Spectra.

According to the report, medical personnel arriving on the scene stated that it was possible that Parrish was having a heart attack prior to the crash.

That information has not been confirmed.

There were no other injuries in the crash.
