According to reports from the CPD, officers received a tip that led to the searching of the room occupied by 23-year-old Jeremy Ouis Lohr and 36-year-old Mary Louise Lohr.
Both were charged with two counts of burglary and Jeremy Lohr was also charged with theft by shoplifting.
According to reports, Homeland Baptist Church located at 472 Treadwell had been burglarized on Dec. 9 and Dec. 12 of last year.
Taken in the burglaries were food items, a microwave, food processor, Christmas gifts, a camera, CD player and television.
Officers found most of the items in the room occupied by Jeremy Lohr and Mary Lohr.
Further investigation by officers of the Chatsworth Police Department also solved a case of an automobile entered.
A credit/debit card was taken during that incident.
Officers discovered that the card had been used at multiple locations in the Chatsworth area with purchases estimated at $500.
The investigation is continuing, but authorities expect to file several charges concerning financial transaction card fraud.
Other charges could be pending in the case.
